About Me:
Julia Schafermeyer (she/they) has been in private practice since 2011. She’s an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist; Certified EMDR Therapist; and a Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist. Julia’s taught Theory and Methods of Sexual Therapy at the University of Missouri-Kansas City since 2014 and, on occasion, Ethics and Practicum courses. As a member of the KC Queer-Affirming Therapist Guild, she coordinates training events for other local therapists. She worked at a domestic violence shelter for five years, providing individual and group therapy and crisis intervention. Julia began her counseling training after witnessing a great need for therapy services in her previous non-profit profession.

Violet Eiken is a Certified Hypnotherapist in the KC area specializing with the LGBTQIA+ community. Her education from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute allows her to use holistic and metaphysical techniques to bring eastern and western medicine together. Hypnosis is temporarily relaxing the conscious mind to work with the subconscious mind to bring the changes you wish to see in your life. This powerful tool has been around for thousands of years and is completely natural, safe and effective. Violet uses energy work, chakra alignment, breath work and yoga in her practices. She is passionate about creating an authentic balance and connection with the mind, body, spirit and soul. She is a gifted teacher and mentor within the spiritual community. Her Bachelors in Psychology and Comprehensive Crisis Response have created a solid foundation into understanding mind body connection. A forever student she is pursuing a certification in Herbalism and Shamanism at Sacred Earth Arts. Violet has been a source of inspiration and motivation and is a successful guide to unlocking your full potential.
